Holy Week

Holy Week begins with a contemplative Ash Wednesday service where we reflect on our mortality, our sin, and our salvation. On Maundy Thursday our Narthex is transformed into the Upper Room as we relive the story of Jesus’ last twenty-four hours. On Good Friday from noon till 8:00 p.m. we open up the chapel to trace Jesus’ steps to the cross through masterpieces by Caravaggio, El Greco and others. At our 8:00 a.m. Easter Paschal Service we experience the joy of the resurrection in a service of scripture, silence and song. A full Easter breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m. we gather in our sanctuary for the final Resurrection Worship Service.
